International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, 1966

 

The International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights is a key human rights document approved alongside the International Covenant of Civil and Political Rights. It aims at ensuring important rights such as the right to self-determination of all peoples, the right to non-discrimination, the equal right of men and women to enjoy the rights in the ICESCR or the right to work.
