Event: Expert-workshop on “Victims and International Justice”

On Saturday, November 3rd The Guernica Group, the Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) of the International Criminal Court, the working group on transitional justice of the Latin American Society of International Law, and Santa Clara School of Law, are organizing an expert-workshop on “Victims and International Justice”. This workshop will bring together leading experts, human rights lawyers and practitioners to discuss the role and participation of victims in different justice mechanisms.


This event takes place in the context of an effort to raise awareness of and to promote the profile and work of the Trust Fund for Victims (TFV) in the West Coast of the U.S.

Consequently, a series of additional lectures at the different Universities of the Bay Area on the work of the Trust Fund for Victims are being organized.

· Friday, November 2nd, 4:00 pm Panel discussion “Victims and International Justice”, Santa Clara University, School of Law, Charney Hall 205, 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara


· Monday, November 5th, 12 - 1 pm, Lecture by the Trust Fund for Victims, Hastings, Alumni Reception Center, 200 McAllister St., 2nd Floor, SF


· Tuesday, November 6th, 12:30 – 1:20 pm, Lecture by the Trust Fund for Victims, University of San Francisco, USF Kendrick Hall 103, 2199 Fulton Street, SF
