UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the 2014 Gaza Conflict, 2015, “Report of the detailed findings of the Commission of Inquiry on the 2014 Gaza Conflict”

This report contains the detailed finding of the independent commission of inquiry established pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution S-21/1.

The commission was able to gather substantial information pointing to serious violations of international humanitarian law and international human rights law by Israel and by Palestinian armed groups. It concluded that in some cases, these violations may amount to war crimes.

The commission urged all those concerned to take immediate steps to ensure accountability, including the right to an effective remedy for victims.
